OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (October 30, 2024) – USA Softball, the National Governing Body for Softball in the United States, concluded its 93rd Annual Council Meeting today after five days of discussions and forums focused on the current state of the sport and its aspirations for future growth. Throughout the week, USA Softball reviewed proposed changes to codes and rules across all divisions, announced the locations for the 2026 National Championships, and appointed new Regional Vice Presidents to the Board of Directors (BOD). The event also featured the 43rd Annual National Softball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the unveiling of the 2025 Hall of Fame Class, and the Wilson Awards Luncheon.

2026 National Championships
USA Softball announced the locations for the 2026 National Championships across various divisions of its grassroots programs, including the following Girls’ Class A Fast Pitch National Championship Finals:
- Girls’ 10-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Johnson City, TN
- Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Johnson City, TN
- Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Salem, VA
- Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Johnson City, TN
- Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Salem, VA

The 2024 Annual Council Meeting also saw the appointment of three new members to the USA Softball Board of Directors, representing various USA Softball regions across the country:
